Summer camps at Washington College
Washington College on the eastern shore is hosting two camps this year in June and July.
The first session is an evening camp called “Victory Week” starting June 25 for athletes aged 8 and up.
Director and WC Coach Rachel Boyle’s flyer on the camp describes its mission to instruct individuals of varied ages on basic fundamentals and execution of the fundamentals of field hockey in a competitive format. The sessions will focus on specific field hockey skills and techniques with great emphasis placed on team tactics.
The fee for an individual is $85. For members of a team of at least 10, the cost drops to $45 (registration form).
In July, the college hosts a Revolution Camp for girls aged 10 to 18. The four-day camp starts on July 25.
Cost is $495 for overnight campers and $405 for day campers.
